The staff were so nice and friendly.

We found that there was no cleaning service for the room. They only changed the trash and towels. The breakfast delivery system was frustrating, as they would knock until you answered, disrupting our mornings. It seemed like the hotel was still in a rough state, with a noticeable ceiling issue in our room adding to the discomfort.

Great location, it was minutes walking distance from a main station.

The staff - some of them were poor.

I almost wrote a great review, but the breakfast was just unbearable and the staff didn't even bother to pick up our used breakfast baskets. Plus, given the lack of cleaning services in my room, i expected a complimentary upgrade for my stay. It's atrocious how they treat guests here.

The room was beautifully designed with a calm, spacious feel, and I appreciated the good balcony view over a quiet street. The staff were attentive, even helping me with my luggage upon arrival.

Absolutely fantastic small place with good location so close to the center of Kyoto as well as subway station, shops and lots of nice restaurants. Modern room and comfy, with a personal safe, a kettle, and climate control. Down pillows, very comfy bed...

The location's perfect, quiet yet close to all the action. Room design struck a great balance between modern and traditional Japanese. Only downside, the small terrace could use a bit of sprucing up.

Didn't like anything, except cleanliness.

The room was super spacious and really clean, a big plus. The only thing I'd say is that it could use a few more hangers, but that's a minor detail. The breakfast delivered to our door was tasty, and the design felt fresh and appealing. Totally easy to get around, just a few stops away from the main areas. A solid spot!

Just a top selection for a weekend break in Kyoto with great value for money. The espresso machine in the Twin Room was a nice surprise to kickstart my mornings. Rent a bike for a fun way to explore the area.

would have stayed for longer

The Twin Room was super comfy with air conditioning and an espresso machine. Little things like the private bathroom and the large shower room. Loved the quiet street view and nice amenities like pajamas and slippers. Breakfast in our room was a tasty treat every morning!

Can't recommend highly enough for a brief pause

Very nice staff, very nice location, with the air conditioning keeping our Double Room actually cool during the hot summer days and the in-room breakfast delivering delicious meals right to us each morning.

Everything was flawless.

The Family Junior Suite was spacious, with great amenities that was so good. We loved the comfortable beds and the breakfast delivered each morning from a local deli was a good touch. The staff were helpful.

Our room was modern with good facilities and a view of a football field. the setting was marvelous, located next to various train stops, a bus stop, and the city center.
